Description:

VLink Inc., a rapidly growing digital technology services and consulting company headquartered in Connecticut, is seeking an experienced RPA Architect for a hybrid contract position based in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in process automation architecture, process re-engineering, and the implementation of Automation Centers of Excellence (CoE).

This role requires a professional who can not only architect and design automation workflows but also lead the strategic intake, evaluation, and deployment of RPA solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in building scalable, efficient, and sustainable automation processes that improve business efficiency and deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze business processes to determine automation readiness and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Architect, design, and optimize process automation workflows, addressing process gaps and ensuring operational efficiency.

• Create comprehensive Process Design Documents (PDDs) and ensure accurate documentation for all automation processes.

• Establish and manage the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) for structured automation governance and best practices.

• Oversee the intake, assessment, and pipeline generation for RPA and process improvement projects.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business units, IT teams, and leadership to secure approvals, system access, and process insights.

• Develop test cases and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for automation projects.

• Apply Agile methodologies for project execution and continuous improvement.

• Drive accountability and engagement within teams through effective communication, project tracking, and results-oriented leadership.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of RPA process intake frameworks and ability to classify processes as “Automation Ready” or “Business Process Improvement.”

• Demonstrated experience in process architecture, optimization, and re-engineering for automation.

• Proven capability in authoring detailed Process Design Documents (PDDs) and managing end-to-end automation projects.

• Hands-on experience leading Automation CoE operations and maintaining a project pipeline.

• Expertise in UAT planning, test case development, and Agile project delivery.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Strong ability to motivate teams, lead meetings, and track deliverables effectively.

Desired Skills:

• RPA Program Management and Automation CoE experience.

• Familiarity with RPA platforms and tools such as Alteryx, Workato, and similar automation technologies.

• Knowledge of business process optimization, process re-engineering, and post go-live support.

• Strong analytical and documentation capabilities, including roadmap creation and scope management.

• Understanding of Google Workspace and collaborative tools for communication and documentation.
