Retail Construction And Maintenance Coordinator

The Construction Coordinator will report directly to VP of Sales and Marketing and be responsible for the following: Key responsibilities and accountabilities: • Coordinate and set-up new construction projects (Tenant Improvements and Capital Projects) in the system. Coordinate all project details, timelines and deliverables, budgets. Maintain a status report and/or chart of all projects in progress • Review TDC (Tenant Design Criteria) and leasing schedules for any challenges or opportunities to reduce costs or enhance design specifics. • Key liaison with landlord tenant coordinators, designers, general contractors and VP.
 

• Coordinate construction drawing package for review and approval (in partnership with Designers and Architects) • Assist in pre-construction – engage consultants, prepare Owner’s Undertaking for Permit Application Process • Obtain start-up documentation from contractors and conduct kick-off meetings prior to project start-up to ensure scope of work and stakeholder’s expectations are met • Handle enquiries from designers and contractors and assist in providing responses and solutions; coordination of drawings and samples for approvals • Coordinate with contractors/vendors throughout construction stage and responsible for ensuring deficiencies and close-out documentation are completed • Conduct meetings with contractors and/or consultants as needed to ensure project issues are addressed as they arise • Focus on areas to reduce costs. A cost savings annual goal will be part of this roles performance measurement. • Responsible for updating Budget and Project accounting such as Budget Reports, Change Orders, Cash Flow forecasts, issue PO’s and other administrative duties to ensure project accounting is up-to-date • Manage and execute retail store maintenance program and budget. Ongoing maintenance is key to our brand and customer experience.
