Grit Psychology Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Psychologist or Provisional Registered Psychologist to join their growing team in Calgary and Airdrie. This is a part-time/contract position with the potential to become full-time. Grit Psychology Inc. offers an excellent opportunity for Provisional Psychologists or experienced clinicians looking to grow their skills, with internal supervision for counselling and formal assessments.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality psychological services to individuals, couples, and families in need of therapy and assessment.

  • Offer internal supervision to Provisional Psychologists in areas such as counselling and formal assessments.

  • Conduct psychological assessments for clients, focusing on mental health, ADHD, giftedness, and psychoeducational assessments (available for clients under 18).

  • Manage a flexible caseload, setting your own schedule to prevent burnout and promote work-life balance.

  • Maintain a hybrid work model, allowing for both remote and in-person sessions based on client needs.

  • Engage in peer consultations for case discussions and interdisciplinary support within the team.

  • Provide therapy across a variety of therapy modalities, based on the specific needs of your clients.


Core Skills & Requirements:

  • Active registration (or eligibility) with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

  • Strong clinical knowledge across a variety of therapy modalities.

  • Experience in psychological assessments (preferred but not required).

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in private practice (preferred).

  • Excellent time management and ability to follow through on client care.

  • Professional interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable with in-person, virtual, and phone sessions.

  • Availability to offer evening and/or weekend in-person sessions in Edmonton.
