CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO) is proud to invite compassionate and dedicated nurses to join their brand-new long-term care facility – Maison des aînés et alternative (MDA MA) in Valleyfield. This initiative represents a transformational approach to elderly care, promoting an environment that emphasizes the human dimension in the delivery of health services.
This new residence is designed to provide a warm, home-like setting that enhances autonomy, dignity, and social participation for residents. Nurses at MDA MA will work closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care grounded in empathy and respect. This environment encourages family and community involvement, making each nurse a vital contributor to both medical and emotional well-being.
Deliver clinical nursing care tailored to the specific needs and lifestyles of residents
Support elderly individuals, particularly those with neurocognitive disorders and adults with physical or intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
Foster a nurturing and dignified care atmosphere within smaller residential-style units of 12 people each
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a culture of quality care
Engage actively with families and community networks to promote inclusive care
Maintain high ethical standards and patient-centered service delivery
Education:
DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales) in Nursing
OR Bachelor’s in Nursing (BAC)
OR Equivalent qualification with three recognized certificates (at least two in nursing)
Professional Requirement: Must be a licensed member of OIIQ (Ordre des Infirmières et Infirmiers du Québec)
Availability: Must be available for rotating shifts (Day/Night) and work one weekend out of two
