Description:

As the Manager, Portfolio Reporting & Analytics, you will own the business design and delivery of dashboards and report packs used by senior stakeholders. In addition, you are accountable for delivering and operationalizing portfolio reporting outputs, translating strategic priorities into high-quality, production-ready dashboards and reporting solutions. You will query and validate data directly from enterprise datasets, shape clear metric definitions, and publish high-performing Power BI solutions that leaders trust. This role is accountable for reporting outputs, insight generation, and data integrity, operating within the business while partnering closely with IT.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and report packs aligned to defined business priorities and executive decision‑making needs, including Power Query, data modeling, DAX, publishing, and refresh
  • Write and optimize SQL to interrogate, reconcile, and validate data from enterprise databases/data warehouses
  • Translate business questions into well defined metrics, definitions, and visuals with established standards that enable clear executive decision-making
  • Implement data quality checks, reconciliations, and documentation so outputs are explainable and trusted
  • Partner with IT and systems owners to access and shape data from enterprise databases/warehouses and independently validate outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Define business data and reporting requirements and priorities, and work with IT and systems owners to improve data sourcing (tables/views, refresh schedules, access) and reduce manual reporting
  • Continuously improve performance and usability (report design standards, navigation, load times, and workspace governance)

Your ideal profile:

  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in analytics, reporting, and business intelligence, with hands-on delivery in Power BI
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience supporting investment or portfolio reporting, with strong understanding of commitments, funding, valuations, cash flows, performance, and pipeline reporting. Experience in infrastructure or related private assets environments is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting insights to senior leaders and influencing decisions
  • Strong Power BI capabilities with a focus on translating business requirements into scalable, decision‑ready reporting outputs
  • Demonstrated portfolio of Power BI work (dashboards, semantic models, DAX)
  • Advanced SQL skills and comfort working directly with enterprise databases/data warehouses to query, reconcile, and validate results
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop reporting and analytics capability, including mentoring, prioritization, and driving consistency and quality of outputs
  • Strong controls mindset, including documentation, lineage, reconciliation, and change management to support explainable, audit-ready reporting
  • Experience operating within a business function in close partnership with IT, with clear accountability for reporting outputs and stakeholder adoption
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; training can be provided
