Plant Human Resources Manager

 

Description:

The Plant Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within a manufacturing facility to ensure smooth daily operations and legal compliance. This role involves managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, compensation, policy development, performance management, safety, and providing HR support to plant management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, candidate selection, and onboarding

  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, fostering positive employee relations

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulations

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training initiatives

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures

  • Oversee performance management systems and employee development programs

  • Promote and enforce workplace safety protocols, contributing to a culture of safety

  • Serve as a member of the joint health and safety committee, maintaining compliance documentation and schedules

  • Provide HR guidance and support to plant management
