Description:
GoRight Fleet Solutions, a leading Canadian innovator in transportation maintenance with over 20 years of industry experience, is seeking a Parts Specialist to manage parts supply, inventory control, and branch replenishment processes. This role involves direct customer service, inventory monitoring, and supporting Lean process improvement initiatives to ensure seamless operations in their service centres.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide over-the-counter and phone service for truck and trailer parts.
Process parts orders, purchase orders, and quotes in a timely manner.
Source non-stock and out-of-stock parts from vendors to meet customer needs.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in branch replenishment.
Conduct cycle counts, analyze adjustments, and recommend inventory improvements.
Support Lean initiatives, update Standard Work documents, and eliminate operational waste.
Assist in work orders, quoting, and branch parts transfers as needed.
Shift Details:
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Days: Monday – Thursday
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma (Grade 12); Parts Technician certification (Ontario College of Trades) is an asset.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in parts and inventory (truck & trailer).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and data entry abilities.
Ability to operate assigned parts equipment and use computer systems effectively.
