Parts Customer Service Representative

Description:

Alta Equipment Group, following its recent acquisition of AULT, is seeking a Parts Customer Service Representative (CSR) for its Peterborough, ON location. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while managing parts sales, inventory, and order processing. As a key member of the team, you will interact with customers to identify their needs, provide accurate information on parts availability, and coordinate with service teams to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers by providing advice, parts availability, pricing, and specifications.

• Handle sales and order processing via phone, email, or in-person interactions.

• Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, storing parts, and assisting in replenishment activities.

• Coordinate with the service team to ensure parts availability for service calls.

• Process payments, handle returns, and manage exchanges efficiently.

• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in parts or customer service roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of Business Central software is an asset.

• General understanding of the equipment industry preferred.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
