Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator

Description:

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is seeking an Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator to support and coordinate clinical research studies within the Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM). This role involves patient recruitment, protocol management, data collection, and sample processing while collaborating with investigators and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and screen patients for oncology research studies

• Obtain informed consent and ensure eligibility compliance

• Maintain accurate research documentation (adverse event logs, patient charts, consent forms)

• Coordinate protocol-related tests (blood draws, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, ECGs, urine collection)

• Process and ship clinical samples as per protocol

• Schedule study-related site visits and monitoring meetings

• Collaborate with oncology and radiation departments

• Ensure adherence to clinical research regulations (ICH-GCP)

Requirements:

• DEC in sciences or a related field

• Bilingual (French & English) – spoken and written

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience with clinical data management and regulatory compliance
