The CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest is seeking a Neuropsychologist to join its specialized program for motor and language disabilities in individuals aged 7 years and older, with a primary focus on adult clients. This on-site opportunity in L’Île-Perrot, Quebec invites professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference in clients' lives to be part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

This specialized program provides rehabilitation services to individuals who present motor (DM) or language (DL) disabilities and have the potential for recovery. Candidates must be ready to contribute to a supportive therapeutic environment by conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments, designing treatment plans, and facilitating interventions aimed at restoring mental health and promoting optimal functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and mental functioning evaluations

• Recommend and carry out interventions and treatment plans

• Engage in psychological assessment, orientation, consultation, and therapy adapted to individual or group needs

• Assist clients in developing or recovering skills required for daily life and community participation

• Support clients and families during the rehabilitation process

• Facilitate school-to-life transition for younger clients

• Promote employability or occupational engagement

• Help clients maintain interpersonal relationships and enhance autonomy and safety

• Guide clients in using compensatory strategies or assistive technologies

• Offer training, awareness, and support to family, educational, professional, and social networks

Requirements:

• Hold a Doctorate in Psychology

• Be a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec

• Possess certification from the Order of Psychologists of Quebec for neuropsychological evaluations
