National Operations Leader

A globally renowned logistics company is seeking a visionary National Leader, Contract Logistics to spearhead its third-party logistics (3PL) operations across Canada. Based in Mississauga, this is a high-level leadership role with full accountability for sales, operations, and strategic growth. The successful candidate will become a key player within the company's executive team and will influence national logistics strategies in a highly complex and evolving environment.

The role involves oversight of over 10 distribution centers across Canada, managing both dedicated and multi-client warehousing operations. The company also oversees extensive freight spending, including last-mile delivery on behalf of its clients. This position is ideal for an ambitious leader with a strong understanding of warehouse logistics, transportation, HR, IT, and project management within a 3PL setting.

You will be responsible for creating a national vision, aligning operations with business growth goals, and building a high-performing leadership team across all regions. The role demands a balance of operational excellence, client-facing capability, and people-focused leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee complex 3PL distribution operations across multiple sites

• Develop and execute national logistics strategy aligned with business goals

• Oversee Sales, Operations, HR, IT, and Project Management functions

• Drive growth by managing customer relationships and contributing to business development

• Build and mentor a high-performance national leadership team

• Ensure service excellence in warehousing and transportation operations

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in leading large-scale, multi-site 3PL distribution networks

• Proven record of senior leadership success in logistics and supply chain

• Strong knowledge of transportation, project management, and employee relations

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage customer partnerships

• Passionate about coaching, mentoring, and team development

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual salary range: CA$250000 to CA$315000

• Monthly equivalent: CA$20833 to CA$26250
