Key responsibilities of the successful candidate will also include:

• Managing and assigning resources to assess and correct system problems;
• Training and certifying users on various systems and databases;
• Managing and implementing new versions or updates of the systems/databases.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job are usually obtained through a Bachelor degree in a field of Information Technology such as communications, computer science, automation, management, or a related field with minimum four (4) years’ work experience in the management, operation and maintenance of system, software and databases. Four (4) years’ experience as a manager/supervisor in the field of Information Technology is required. A Registered Technology Manager (RTMgr) and/or an Applied Science Technologist (AScT/PTech) are considered assets.
