Loss Prevention Officer

Description:

Reporting to the Asset Protection Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to provide assistance in the area of loss prevention including shoplifter detection and apprehension. Other duties include:

• Identifying shoplifters, establishing evidence of theft and detaining/arresting suspects
• Monitoring Co-op facilities/property for activity that could negatively impact product, the facility and environment, customers, team members or the brand in general
• Assisting with loss prevention investigations and participating in all activities associated with the role of LPO (theft, trespassing, disturbance, mischief, fraud, etc.)
