Tommy Bahama’s Marlin Bar offers a relaxed and inviting destination for guests to enjoy cocktails, light fare, and retail experiences. The Marlin Bar Line Cook is responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences while upholding Tommy Bahama’s core values, standards, and policies. The role is centered around creating a welcoming environment and ensuring food quality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a relaxed, enjoyable guest experience by reflecting the Tommy Bahama culture.

  • Participate in meetings and training sessions; apply learned skills on the job.

  • Assist team members in food preparation, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of menus and recipes.

  • Possess full knowledge of all food menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards.

  • Follow food safety, sanitation programs, and workplace safety policies.

  • Be receptive to feedback and coaching to maintain high service standards.

  • Perform other duties as required to support business operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Generally, 1 year of culinary or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by law.

  • Comfortable interacting with guests about food and beverage offerings and preparation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.

  • Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.

  • Occasional climbing of ladders.

  • Routine standing for up to 8 hours per shift.

  • Possible travel for training or assisting at other Tommy Bahama locations.

  • Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
