The CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest is currently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its healthcare team at Hôpital du Suroît located in Valleyfield, Quebec. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work collaboratively with the care team to support patient evaluations, implement care plans, administer medical and nursing treatments, and promote wellness. You will also participate in patient education and provide support to family members to ensure optimal recovery and health maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering a wide range of nursing care in collaboration with the care team

• Contribute to evaluating patient health and help implement personalized care plans

• Provide medical and nursing treatments to maintain or restore health and prevent disease

• Educate patients and their families about wellness and care strategies

• Share your expertise with colleagues to ensure comprehensive follow-up for patients

Requirements:

• Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Health, Assistance, and Nursing from an institution recognized by the appropriate ministry

• Must be a registered member of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)

• Must be available to work every other weekend
