Landscape Architect

Architecture49 (A49) is seeking a Landscape Architect to join their Vancouver office. The successful candidate will collaborate with a range of professionals, including Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, and Planners, to deliver creative and technically sound landscape architecture solutions. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate internally and externally with architects, engineers, planners, and landscape architects.

• Develop creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations.

• Assist in the preparation of conceptual designs, design development, and construction documents.

• Manage multiple projects and budgets while meeting deadlines.

• Prepare design briefs, cost estimates, and technical reports.

• Manage client expectations, consultant coordination, and approvals.

• Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.

• Assist with contract administration and site inspections.

Qualifications:

• Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the landscape architecture profession.

• Member or Associate Member of BCSLA (British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects) or eligibility for membership.

• Bilingual (French and English) is considered an asset.

• Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
