Kinesiologist

Description:

Axo Physio is seeking a motivated Kinesiologist for a summer replacement position averaging 28 hours per week, split between two clinics located in the northern sectors of Charlesbourg, Lac St-Charles, and St-Romuald. This role is available immediately for the summer period with a possibility to continue in the fall at approximately 21 hours per week at the NDL branch if available.

Candidates must be members of the FKQ (Fédération québécoise des kinésiologues). While 2 or more years of experience is an asset, new graduates with strong motivation are also encouraged to apply.

The client base includes rehabilitation cases, CNESST claims, PRSVC (veterans), and private clients. Responsibilities involve managing chronic pain, activation, training plans, and fitness improvement within an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients’ physical conditions thoroughly.

• Develop personalized intervention plans to meet client goals, enhance capacities, and prevent relapses.

• Collaborate with clients to create appropriate activity or exercise schedules to aid recovery or achieve other objectives.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records according to clinic and professional association standards.

• Submit required reports to funding agents within deadlines.
