Junior Data Analyst

Description:

Financement agricole Canada (FCC) is offering an exciting 4-month summer internship opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst (Treasury Reporting) to join its Treasury team in Regina. This role provides a valuable hands-on experience where you will work with financial and treasury data, strengthen your analytical skills, and contribute to projects that enhance operational efficiency.

As part of the Treasury team, you will assist in collecting, structuring, and cleaning financial data, producing detailed reports, and providing insights that support informed decision-making. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts who will guide you in applying data analysis tools to real business problems, helping shape the financial strategies at FCC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily treasury management during staff vacations.

• Verify the compliance of key treasury processes.

• Prepare monthly reports and ad hoc financial reports.

• Perform daily data validation and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

• Contribute to special projects that aim to improve existing treasury processes and add value to operations.

What You Bring:

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Finance or Accounting, with at least two years completed.

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for learning and data-driven problem solving.

• Attention to detail and high standards for accuracy and data integrity.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently following established procedures.
