Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software tools by integrating SCADA systems and IoT platforms such as ThingsBoard.
- Deploy and manage IoT devices, sensors, and gateways, ensuring continuous, accurate, and real-time data acquisition.
- Build and refine user-facing features that communicate seamlessly with back-end systems and physical devices.
- Develop modular, reusable code and ensure robust testing with integration and unit test coverage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to communication protocols, data flow, and device interaction.
- Collaborate closely with backend and API teams to ensure smooth integration and performance across the tech stack and conduct code reviews.
- Integrate and unify diverse data streams from IoT and SCADA systems to enable actionable analytics and intelligent energy decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of SDLC experience, including 4+ years in IoT and SCADA.
- Deep passion for sustainability and strong understanding of energy management systems, electricity markets, and energy-saving tools.
- Experience managing both SQL and NoSQL databases for IoT sensor data storage and retrieval.
- Proven hands-on experience with IoT platforms like ThingsBoard, AWS IoT, or Azure IoT.
- Solid understanding of the IoT ecosystem and hardware deployment, including sensors, gateways, and embedded systems.
- Proficient in Python for automation, data handling, and building scalable energy tech solutions.
- Strong grasp of industrial communication protocols, including Modbus (TCP/IP, RTU), OPC UA, MQTT, BACnet, HTTP, and RESTful APIs.
