We are seeking an Insurance Agent to maintain an existing portfolio of Erie Mutual members. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to our members and want our members to understand the coverage they are buying. Forming relationships with your members and gaining their trust is a top priority. The relationship doesn’t end after the sale is made; at Erie this is only the beginning.

You will be responsible to endorse policies, up-sell, cross-sell, provide quotes to inbound leads, review inspections (completed in-house) and field initial claims calls from your members. You will also be expected to visit members at their farms to understand the risk and review their coverage.

Qualifications:

• valid Other-Than-Life License and eligible to be sponsored by Erie Mutual

• Ontario College Diploma in Insurance considered an asset

• 5+ years work experience in the insurance industry

• Proven knowledge of farm insurance

• Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) Designation considered an asset

• experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics 365 would be beneficial

• proven ability to build relationships with the public in a customer facing work environment

• highly organized and disciplined to manage workload primarily independently

• adaptable to new processes and guidelines as required

• valid Ontario’s driver’s license
