Description:
Scout Talent is recruiting a full-time Information Technology Project Manager to lead high-impact technology projects for a mission-driven non-profit organization. This role reports to the Director of IT and supports strategic and operational objectives through planning, executing, and delivering IT projects remotely from anywhere in Canada.
Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans including risk assessments, budgets, and communication strategies.
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for smooth project execution.
Monitor and report project performance using KPIs and management tools.
Manage risks and issues, including escalation and mitigation.
Lead stakeholder engagement, provide updates, and align cross-functional teams.
Document all project lifecycle phases, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
Propose and contribute to improvements in project management practices.
Support full lifecycle of internal and external technology solutions.
Research trends in SaaS, AI, and business automation.
Create and maintain SOPs and knowledge-sharing tools.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience.
3-5 years of experience in project management, SaaS, cloud computing, software implementation, or business analysis.
Familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
Experience with digital transformation, AI adoption, or process automation initiatives.
Proficiency in SaaS/cloud environments and project management tools like MS Project.
Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering and process mapping.
Experience managing IT vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and adaptability.
