Description:

They are seeking a versatile, hands-on individual who enjoys both technical design and manual work, particularly in transforming ideas into tangible results. This role involves working on both the design of electrical and automation panels and their assembly and installation at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Industrial Drawing:

    • Design electrical schematics, wiring plans, and circuit diagrams for electrical and automation panels using CAD/CAE software like AutoCAD.

    • Write material lists and create component layout plans.

    • Collaborate with engineers to propose technical solutions tailored to project needs.

    • Create and maintain technical documentation.

  • Assembly and Installation:

    • Assemble panels according to wiring diagrams and design plans.

    • Perform internal electrical connections (wiring, terminals, etc.) in accordance with safety standards and quality regulations.

    • Conduct functional tests to ensure the correct operation of panels and equipment before installation on site.

    • Install equipment on client sites, ensuring seamless integration into the installation environment.

    • Make electrical connections on-site, verifying power supply and system functionality.

    • Collaborate with engineers to support the commissioning tests of equipment, ensuring proper startup and making necessary adjustments.

    • 80% of the work will be carried out on-site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A technical background, such as a DEP ASP in electricity, automation, electrotechnics, electromechanics, or an equivalent qualification.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the design, drawing, and assembly of electrical panels.

  • Proficiency in industrial design and drawing software (AutoCAD Electrical is an asset).

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electricity and automation (electrical schematics, controllers, programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives, etc.).

  • Experience in the assembly and wiring of electrical panels.

  • Ability to organize work autonomously while meeting deadlines and priorities.

  • Collaborative work style, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and clients to ensure project success.

  • Attention to detail, rigor, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.
