Quantum Management Services Ltd. is hiring a Health and Safety Prevention Officer (SST) to join a renowned distribution company based in Boucherville, QC. This newly created full-time, permanent role is designed to reinforce risk prevention specifically within the transportation department, enhancing safety awareness and compliance.

The selected candidate will provide guidance to management on best practices in workplace health and safety, while actively contributing to the development of a robust safety culture across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development, implementation, and enforcement of the company's prevention plan.

• Ensure compliance with provincial health and safety laws, regulations, and standards.

• Conduct risk assessments for various workstations and identify areas for improvement.

• Lead safety training sessions, awareness campaigns, and educational activities.

• Conduct regular audits and workplace inspections.

• Produce detailed reports and suggest corrective actions.

• Coordinate Health and Safety Committee activities and collaborate with national safety teams.

• Investigate workplace incidents alongside the SST Specialist and recommend preventive measures.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in health and safety prevention.

• Background or training in occupational health and safety (SST) is an asset.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

• Strong knowledge of provincial health and safety legislation.

• Must be available for weekly travel (North Shore, Gatineau, Sherbrooke, Quebec City).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary: CA$70,000–75,000/year (plus 10% bonus).
