Hardscape Technician

Description:

Mark of Excellence Landscaping, a Kingston-based hardscaping company, is hiring a Hardscape Technician to join their hands-on, quality-focused team. The company is passionate about creating durable and visually appealing outdoor living spaces such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls that enhance the beauty and functionality of residential properties.

The selected candidate will work directly alongside the Owner/Operator and the rest of the crew on a variety of outdoor projects. This is a full-time, on-site position involving manual and equipment-assisted labor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the construction of interlocking patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

• Operate machinery such as mini excavators as needed.

• Follow project plans and safety protocols while delivering quality results.

• Work collaboratively within a small, skilled team in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hardscape construction.

• Experience operating a mini excavator.

• Possession of a G-class driver’s license or higher.

• Access to a personal vehicle for transportation to and from job sites.

• Physically fit and capable of handling long workdays outdoors.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8 to 10-hour shifts.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $25.00 – $32.00/hour depending on experience.

• After completing a probation period, employees are eligible to receive $1500 towards benefits of their choice.
