A leading construction company is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee on-site construction operations, specializing in concrete, asphalt, and excavation projects. This leadership role involves managing multiple job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Project Management:

• Oversee all phases of construction to ensure projects align with scope, budget, and timelines.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities, manage change orders, and proactively address project challenges.

✅ Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor site foremen and crews.
• Promote a positive work environment and ensure effective communication and task delegation.

✅ Safety Compliance:

• Enforce health and safety regulations on all job sites.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure all team members are trained in safety protocols.

✅ Quality Control:

• Perform regular site inspections to maintain high-quality standards.
• Approve materials and resolve technical issues promptly.

✅ Resource Coordination:

• Manage equipment, materials, and labor resources efficiently.
• Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

🎯 Must-Have Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in construction supervision, focusing on concrete, asphalt, and excavation projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is an asset.
