Field Service Technician

Description:

Stream-Flo Industries Ltd., a leading Canadian manufacturer of wellhead and valve equipment, is hiring Service Technicians – AfterMarket Services for its Grande Prairie branch. With multiple full-time permanent openings, this role offers a unique opportunity to join a growing team committed to safety, innovation, and customer excellence.

The selected candidates will report to the AMS Field Service Supervisor and be responsible for providing field service support for frac operations. This includes installations, tool maintenance, frac support services, and customer property repairs across a variety of locations. The position operates on a 15/6 rotational shift schedule, with travel to other branches required for training and job support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform frac field service operations, including tool installation, maintenance, and on-site support.

• Provide high-quality customer service while acting as a representative of the company.

• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and spare components as per company standards.

• Ensure detailed service records and documentation are completed accurately.

• Participate in shop and vehicle maintenance as necessary.

• Support sales and customer relations as needed.

• Travel to branch locations for training or site support assignments.

• Uphold safety standards and follow all company procedures and HSE policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.

• Mechanical aptitude or related industry experience is highly preferred.

• Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.

• Willingness to travel and work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

• Assets include:

  • Experience with frac equipment, isolation tools, or ball drop systems.

  • H2S, Fall Arrest, First Aid, CSO certifications.

  • Experience with hydraulic systems or accumulators.

  • Folding or Stiff Boom Truck Crane ticket (22 tonnes or less), CraneSafe or equivalent certification.

  • Previous frac support or watch experience.
