Field Project Manager

Description:

Otis Elevator Company, the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service provider, is seeking a Field Project Manager to oversee new equipment projects in Calgary, Alberta. This role involves full-cycle project coordination, ensuring efficient execution, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure projects are executed flawlessly—on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety, technical, and regulatory standards.

• Coordinate all contract activities from project award to completion, reviewing progress to ensure contractual compliance.

• Communicate proactively with clients, contractors, architects, building managers, and authorities to plan and schedule installations.

• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, superintendents, and senior leadership to deliver successful projects financially and operationally.

• Manage billing, consultant/contractor payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize project profitability.

• Accurately analyze contractual documents and modifications to assess cost implications.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of project management or construction experience.

• Strong skills in cost estimation, scheduling, and contract management.

• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft software.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Team-oriented and adaptable with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
