What is The Role: Elastic is building a next-generation corporate newsroom, and we are hiring a Corporate Reporter and Editorial Lead to help develop it.
This is not a content marketing role. It is an in-house journalism role inside a global communications organization, responsible for finding, reporting, and shaping the stories that define Elastic’s role in AI, security, observability, and the future of data.
You will operate like a beat reporter embedded inside a technology company: developing sources across engineering, product, research, security, policy, customers, and partners; surfacing stories before they are obvious; and publishing high-credibility, knowledge-first editorial content that shapes how the industry thinks.
This role blends traditional journalistic instincts with digital-first storytelling. One day, you might be reporting a long-form feature on agentic AI in production environments. Next, you could be driving rapid-response commentary, snackable social explainers, or an executive op-ed tied to breaking industry news.
This role is based in North America.
