Description:

Amrize is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to deliver Ready Mix Concrete to job sites in Fort McMurray and surrounding areas. This customer-facing role emphasizes strong relationships with clients and reliable delivery services. The driver ensures that Amrize’s customers receive high-quality product and service while adhering to strict safety and operational protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain cleanliness of equipment.

• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction.

• Deliver Ready Mix Concrete consistently and reliably to residential and commercial sites.

• Coordinate deliveries within assigned geography to ensure on-time performance.

• Collaborate with logistics, operations teams, and fellow operators.

• Work flexible shifts including weekends as required.

• Follow traffic rules and regulations for commercial vehicles.

• Participate in Amrize Ready Mix Training Program.

• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and promote a culture of safety.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must have Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1 Driver’s License.

• Driver’s abstract required with application submission.

• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Relationship-building skills for internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.

• Physically capable of lifting >50 lbs and working on industrial oil sands sites.

• Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
