Driver

Description:

The primary responsibility of this position requires driving a transport van to Boissevain for pick up early AM, and make a return trip in the afternoon, during the Brandon School Division Calendar year.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Transportation of students in a safe and responsible manner
• Immediately communicate unsafe conditions to Supervisor
• Demonstrate safe and proper vehicle operation

Requirements:

• Class 5 drivers licence; required
• Previous experience in similar position; asset
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector/Child Abuse Registry Check
• Reliable, responsible, have valid class 5 drivers licence and clean driving record
• Must speak and read English
• Professionalism and good work ethic
• Mechanically inclined to perform minor vehicle maintenance as required
