This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the team, optimizing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering excellent client and community relations. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead and mentor a veterinary team in a positive, collaborative environment

• Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations

• Oversee staffing and recruitment processes

• Manage role changes and updates in HR systems (Dayforce)

Operations Management

• Ensure efficient day-to-day clinic operations and quality patient care

• Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs)

• Supervise scheduling, inventory, and facility maintenance

• Communicate corporate policies and oversee team performance

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage the hospital's operating budget

• Analyze financial reports and implement cost control measures

• Ensure financial practices are compliant with internal policies

Client Relations

• Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly

• Drive client satisfaction and retention through feedback and service improvements

• Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and veterinary regulations

• Maintain accurate records and oversee safety protocols

• Prepare for audits and inspections

Marketing and Community Engagement

• Execute local marketing initiatives and community outreach

• Promote the hospital through events and awareness campaigns

Strategic Initiatives

• Develop and implement strategic business plans

• Monitor and improve the effectiveness of strategic efforts

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience

• Experience in healthcare/veterinary sectors is an asset

• Strong organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

• Financial acumen and client service orientation

• Proficient in IT systems and clinic management software

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business administration preferred
