Mozilla, the non-profit-backed tech company behind Firefox, is seeking a visionary Director of Product Management, Generative AI to lead the strategy and execution of AI-first user experiences. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the future of browsing and productivity by embedding consent-driven AI into Firefox, staying true to Mozilla’s mission of privacy, transparency, and user control.

The role requires developing a strong product vision, building roadmaps, managing cross-functional collaboration, and delivering AI-powered solutions that transform user productivity and discovery experiences at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the roadmap for integrating Generative AI into Firefox, enabling smarter and more productive online experiences.

• Innovative Solutions: Leverage advanced AI technologies (Agentic AI, MCP) to test, validate, and deliver cutting-edge features.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and business development teams to deliver products that align with user needs and business goals.

• Design Partnership: Ensure solutions are user-centric, privacy-focused, and technically robust.

• Business Development: Champion strategic partnerships and explore new revenue opportunities from AI-driven products.

• Data-Driven Product Management: Build hypotheses, measure impact with clear success metrics, and use data to guide continuous improvement.

• Thought Leadership: Position Firefox as a leader in Generative AI through innovative features, industry engagement, and advocacy.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in Product Management with a proven track record of success.

• 5+ years leading Product Management teams.

• Strong experience in launching AI-powered platforms and customer-facing features.

• Excellent communication skills, especially with executives and diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in data-driven product decision-making.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently at high velocity.

• Customer-first mindset with a passion for building products that delight and empower users.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Salary: CAD 229,000 – 306,000 (Tier 1) / CAD 207,000 – 277,000 (Tier 2).
