Description:

Deloitte Global Technology is seeking a Global Cybersecurity Policies and Standards Analyst to strengthen its cybersecurity governance framework and ensure alignment with global standards. In this role, you will lead the development, research, and maintenance of Deloitte’s cybersecurity policies, standards, and supporting documents to address business objectives and risk appetite. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across borders and disciplines within one of the world’s largest professional services firms, driving policy standardization and global adoption in cybersecurity practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of Deloitte Global cybersecurity standards, baselines, and supporting documents.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to evaluate the impact of standards, resolve deployment challenges, and ensure consistent application.

  • Author cybersecurity documentation, presentations, and statements of applicability.

  • Provide advisory support on interpreting standards and applicability across Deloitte Global.

  • Maintain compliance mapping of Deloitte standards to frameworks like ISO/IEC 27002, NIST 800-53, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

  • Support awareness initiatives to ensure staff engagement with cybersecurity policies.

  • Foster the maturity of the Policies & Standards team by leveraging AI and machine learning tools.

  • Engage with global cybersecurity teams to align policies, standards, and practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, with an emphasis on policy development, governance, and standards.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong knowledge of information security frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF).

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and legal frameworks for cybersecurity.
