Village Media, a Community Impact Organization, is looking for a community support specialist to join us in supporting our Halton Hills and Milton communities.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is passionate about helping to connect businesses with our large local audience.

What you will do:
 

  • Lead generation and outreach- calling local businesses, using a variety of tools, to set up appointments
  • Community building, growing a network of local contacts
  • Shadowing existing sales reps to gain insight into the sales process
  • Working directly with and supporting the sales team in reviewing, monitoring, and fulfilling advertising campaigns
  • Assisting with the administration and coordination of campaigns
  • Working with graphic designers to ensure ad creation process runs smoothly and ads are loaded and delivered on-schedule
  • Completing various office administration responsibilities
  • Connecting with clients for onboarding support
  • Handling multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Performing other duties and projects as directed
     

Minimum qualifications for the position include:
 

  • The ability to work alone, and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other Google applications
