Cnc Service Technician

Description:

Itec Group is hiring a CNC Service Technician for an established manufacturer located in the Mississauga area, with the job position based in Montreal, QC. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC machines, as well as providing hands-on repairs and upgrades to the machines and equipment.

The role will require troubleshooting both hardware and software issues related to CNC Controls (such as Siemens, Fanuc, etc.), and working directly with control systems, drives, and motors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC machines.

• Perform hands-on repairs to machines and equipment, including replacing parts and components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC Controls (Siemens, Fanuc, etc.).

• Provide machine upgrades as needed.

• Ensure that all repairs and services are carried out efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in CNC service, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation.

• Skilled Trades Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) or Engineering Diploma/Degree.

• Ability to travel within Ontario and occasionally across Canada.

• Professional and customer-facing attitude.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 annually.

• Additional Benefits: Bonus, RRSP, Car/Mileage/Meal allowance.
