Cloud Analyst Intern

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is offering an exciting 16-month internship for a Cloud Analyst Intern to join its Cloud and Compute Engineering team in Toronto, ON. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing, optimizing, and deploying resources in a hybrid cloud environment (Azure, VMware vSphere, OpenStack).

The intern will explore modern cloud technologies and infrastructure, participate in initiatives to improve cloud performance, optimize resource allocation, analyze usage data, experiment with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and document and present findings. You will collaborate with cloud engineers, architects, and stakeholders while contributing to innovation projects that enable the organization’s business operations.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies, analytical work on cloud efficiency, and the chance to develop practical skills in cloud computing, scripting, and data analysis.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Computer Science or Engineering degree, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and demonstrate interest in cloud technologies, research, and problem-solving.
