Business Technology Manager

 

Description:

Reporting to the Director of Information Management and Technology, the Business Technology Manager is responsible for managing the research, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and technical support of the Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB’s) mission critical data network and technology infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications.   • Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, information management, cybersecurity, or a related field;
  • Significant experience leading a team and supporting staff development and performance through mentoring and collaboration;
  • Direct experience and knowledge with virtualization technologies, network security architectures, enterprise server infrastructures, and Microsoft 365 technologies (including Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Intune, and EntraID);
  • Experience planning, organizing and managing financial and technical resources;
  • Experience managing the execution of technology strategies and implementation plans.;
  • Experience with contract evaluation, procurement, and supervising contractors would be an asset;
  • Cybersecurity certifications, such as a CEH or CISSP, would be an asset.
