Business System Analyst

Description:

Millennium Software and Staffing Inc, in collaboration with Capgemini, is seeking a highly experienced Business System Analyst (BSA/BA) for a hybrid contract role in Toronto, ON. The selected candidate will be a key contributor in Agile projects integrated with multiple upstream and downstream applications, with a focus on financial and wealth management systems.

This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and the capability to deliver insights that improve business processes and client reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a senior-level Business System Analyst for medium to large Agile projects.

• Write and manage User Stories, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.

• Query databases (Oracle), execute APIs (Postman/Swagger), and utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Mural, and Figma.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, analyze gaps, and propose actionable solutions.

• Participate in face-to-face meetings with Capgemini team members prior to assignment commencement.

• Support integration across upstream and downstream systems.

• Ensure deliverables meet business, compliance, and operational needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Senior BSA/BA.

• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and user story creation.

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills with a proactive approach.

• Hands-on technical expertise with Oracle databases, APIs, and collaboration tools.

• Financial industry experience in Wealth Management, Portfolio Management, or Client Reporting is mandatory.
