DGI Geoscience, a recognized leader in subsurface geoscience solutions for mining, geotechnical, and hydrogeological sectors, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive and expand their market footprint in Canada. With over two decades of industry experience, DGI is renowned for its advanced downhole data acquisition technologies and geological interpretation expertise that support clients from exploration through production.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a successful background in technical sales and business development. The Business Development Manager will lead DGI's sales initiatives within the Canadian market, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships. The position is based in Toronto, ON, but exceptional candidates located elsewhere in Canada will also be considered. With a path toward a potential global leadership role in business development, this opportunity is ideal for someone eager to grow alongside a fast-expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with DGI’s growth objectives.

  • Take charge of Canadian sales operations, ensuring achievement of revenue targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities within mining, exploration, and consulting sectors.

  • Foster partnerships and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Collaborate across departments (marketing, technical, operations) to create customized solutions.

  • Represent DGI at conferences, trade shows, and industry events across Canada.

  • Report regularly on sales progress, addressing any negative trends proactively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree in sciences or engineering preferred.

  • Over 5 years’ experience in business development or technical sales.

  • Strong account management skills, with the ability to expand within client organizations.

  • Experience and network in Canada’s mining and exploration industries are major assets.

  • Knowledge of geoscience services (e.g., geophysics, downhole logging) is highly desirable.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team environment.
