Description:

The Broadcast and Digital Media Producer at WSIB will conceptualize, produce, and promote cross-channel communications using advanced skills in photography, videography, animation, broadcast, graphic design, and copywriting. This role supports both internal and external communications, ensuring all media aligns with corporate branding, strategic goals, and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide digital media guidance to WSIB executives and project teams.

• Conceptualize, produce, and maintain high-quality multimedia solutions including photography, video, animation, and motion graphics.

• Manage content libraries, production sets, and AV equipment ensuring technical compliance and accessibility.

• Lead both live and pre-recorded production, including hybrid event setups and streaming.

• Develop storyboards, collateral print materials, and graphic design elements.

• Optimize media servers, program playback cues, and troubleshoot live broadcast issues.

• Implement disaster recovery plans and risk mitigation strategies.

• Maintain vendor contracts and oversee external production services.

• Ensure compliance with WCAG and AODA accessibility standards.

Qualifications:

• University degree with a specialty focus in Digital Media or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in full end-to-end production.

• Proficiency in photography, videography, animation, broadcast production, and related digital tools.

• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities.

Education Equivalency:
Additional experience may substitute for education at a 2:1 ratio (2 years of experience per level of education not completed).
