Are you a bilingual communications professional with a passion for business storytelling, media relations and corporate reputation? Preferably with Agency experience.
Our client, a leading global integrated communications agency, is seeking a talented Bilingual Senior Consultant (English/French) to join its Corporate Affairs team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business, media and reputation, and wants to contribute to meaningful client mandates across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the North American news landscape and identify emerging issues and opportunities for clients.
• Develop creative media pitches and compelling story angles for business, financial and consumer media in both English and French.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and external stakeholders across Canada.
• Support executive thought leadership, media relations and integrated corporate communications programs.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships, account deliverables, budgets and multiple projects.
• Bring forward strategic ideas and recommendations to advance client objectives.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to new business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
• 3–4 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or agency client service.
• Fluency in both English and French, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong media relations experience and an understanding of Canada's business and financial media landscape.
• Proven ability to develop compelling media pitches and secure meaningful media coverage.
• Experience working within integrated communications programs and across multiple industry sectors.
• Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
