What You Will Do In This Role
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to all food safety regulations.
- Handle cash and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Upsell additional products when appropriate.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed.
What We Are Looking For From You
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing.
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly.
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling purposes.
- Strong bartending skills including drink preparation and presentation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
