Volunteer Project Lead

Description:

Resilient Hearts is seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Project Lead to support the launch and delivery of its Entrepreneur Abilities Pilot Program. This program is designed to empower young adults with developmental disabilities by fostering independence, skill-building, and economic participation through entrepreneurship and self-employment. The role is part-time, volunteer-based, and is based onsite at the Calgary main office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of pilot program activities

• Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to support program milestones

• Ensure timelines, deliverables, and program goals are met

• Track progress and provide updates to the leadership team

• Support participant engagement and foster a welcoming, empowering environment

• Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback for program scaling

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Experience in program coordination, business, entrepreneurship, or community services is an asset

• Passion for inclusion, accessibility, and empowering individuals with disabilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
