Description:
The A220 Type III Pilot Instructor will work with different teams across the world and will have opportunities to develop her/his expertise in various fields and roles, including management / project positions.
Prerequisites
- Hold an ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) aircraft issued by either EASA, TCCA or FAA
- Hold a Valid EASA TRI, FAA Flight Instructor Aircraft or TCCA Instructor Appointment issued by a Canadian Operator on BD-500
- Hold a Valid Medical Class 1 in accordance with the respective Hold ATPL requirement, e.g. EASA, TCCA or FAA
- Hold a minimum English Language Proficiency Rating of 4
- Fluent in English
- Hold a Low Visibility Operations qualification
- Hold or have held an ETOPS qualification
- Flight hours experience required:
- A minimum of 5 000 hours as Pilot
- A minimum of 3 000 hours on Jet Large aircraft above 50t MTOW
- A minimum of 1 000 hours as Captain on Airbus Aircraft
- A minimum of 500 hours instructor experience in FFS on large aircraft,
- A minimum of 500 hours experience as Captain assigned to conduct LIFUS/IOE.
- A significant part of the obtained instructor experience has to be initial type rating oriented
- Qualified (current) and experienced as Captain and Flight Instructor on BD-500
- Examiner experience is a plus
- Significant Commercial Airline Experience
- Evidence base training / Competences Base Training Assessment expertise is required
- Project management minded
- Managerial experience is a plus
- Experience in Flight Safety is a plus
