Type Rating Instructor

 

Description:

The A220 Type III Pilot Instructor will work with different teams across the world and will have opportunities to develop her/his expertise in various fields and roles, including management / project positions.

Prerequisites
 

  • Hold an ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) aircraft issued by either EASA, TCCA or FAA
  • Hold a Valid EASA TRI, FAA Flight Instructor Aircraft or TCCA Instructor Appointment issued by a Canadian Operator on BD-500
  • Hold a Valid Medical Class 1 in accordance with the respective Hold ATPL requirement, e.g. EASA, TCCA or FAA
  • Hold a minimum English Language Proficiency Rating of 4
  • Fluent in English
  • Hold a Low Visibility Operations qualification
  • Hold or have held an ETOPS qualification
  • Flight hours experience required:
    • A minimum of 5 000 hours as Pilot
    • A minimum of 3 000 hours on Jet Large aircraft above 50t MTOW
    • A minimum of 1 000 hours as Captain on Airbus Aircraft
    • A minimum of 500 hours instructor experience in FFS on large aircraft,
    • A minimum of 500 hours experience as Captain assigned to conduct LIFUS/IOE.
    • A significant part of the obtained instructor experience has to be initial type rating oriented
    • Qualified (current) and experienced as Captain and Flight Instructor on BD-500
    • Examiner experience is a plus
    • Significant Commercial Airline Experience
    • Evidence base training / Competences Base Training Assessment expertise is required
    • Project management minded
    • Managerial experience is a plus
    • Experience in Flight Safety is a plus
