Our client is a growing mining company who are searching for an experienced, French speaking Mining Executive to be located in Quebec (Montreal preferred or within two hours of city).
Duties Include:
- Manage all strategic, operational, capital-market initiatives, project development, ensures strict compliance with mining regulations, and manages relationships with external investors, the Board, First Nations, and government authorities.
- Lead the management team, delegating duties and ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
- Serve as the face of the company, communicating with investors, media, the public, and key stakeholders.
- Lead financing rounds, M&A activities and maintain clear, compliant reporting to major stakeholders.
- Navigate mining and environmental laws, including working within the environmental assessment processes.
- Oversee all mine management and facilities meet safety, production, and environmental targets.
Candidate Should Possess;
- 15+ years of progressive, international executive-level experience in the mining sector, specifically within project development and production.
- Fluency in French, both written and verbal.
- University degree in mining, geology or related degree, advanced degree useful.
- Demonstrated track record in capital-raising, liaising with financial institutions, investors, etc.
- Proven executive track record within mining operations.
