Territory Acquisition Account Executive

As a Territory Acquisition Account Executive (TAAE), you will acquire new small to medium business (SMB) customers to Softchoice in order to unleash their potential through cloud, workplace and security technologies.

You will relentlessly hunt to find new customers and contacts, knowing it takes several weeks to land that first meeting.  You will provide expertise with the support our internal resources to showcase how Softchoice helps organizations fully realize success across cloud, workplace and security.

You will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and partner with some of the most disruptive technology companies throughout North America.

Please note, this role is hybrid with the expectation of being in the office 1-2 times per week.

What You'll Do

  • Drive results with an entrepreneurial spirit, uncovering new customer relationships through daily calling, outreach, and engagement to SMB prospects within your territory
  • Focus on acquiring new accounts and expanding our customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Grow and diversify customers by supporting their needs and pursuing new lines of business
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by leveraging your strong communication skills and proactive approach
  • Apply analytical and strategic thinking, finding unique approaches to solve customer challenges and achieve your plan
  • Leverage and partner with a community of technical experts, vendors, and pre-sales resources
  • Utilize knowledge of Salesforce and ZoomInfo to enhance prospecting efforts (knowledge is preferred but not required).

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • 1+ years in a ‘hunter’ sales role with track record of success.
  • Strong prospecting skills and the ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Sales and business acumen with passion to learn and grow
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn about the ever-changing world of enterprise technology.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by financial incentives.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and ZoomInfo is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent, preferred.
