Temporary Packaging Operator

Description:

Labatt Breweries of Canada, a leading national brewer with over 175 years of heritage, is seeking a Temporary Packaging Operator for its St. John’s facility. Labatt produces iconic brands such as Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Corona, Stella Artois, and more. The role involves operating and monitoring high-speed packaging equipment while maintaining process quality and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor high-speed packaging machinery.

• Load supplies into machines and ensure smooth operations.

• Record process data and perform quality control checks.

• Execute industrial cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be of legal drinking age.

• Ability to engage in physical activities, including prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, twisting, pulling, and bending.

• Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs, and occasionally higher than shoulder level.

• Comfortable working in enclosed environments, on slippery floors, and climbing ladders/stairs.

• Tolerant of exposure to noise and vibration.

• Participate in hearing conservation programs and use required PPE, including safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, and hearing protection.
