Technical Product Manager

 

Description:

Pantheon is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join their collaborative Product Management team to support the launch of Content Publisher, a new product designed to transform how content is published to the web. This role reports to the Director of Product leading Content Publisher and will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure the product delivers a superior user experience for developers, editors, marketers, and other non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion Web Team Members: Understand the workflow and challenges of web teams including developers, editorial, and marketing personnel.

  • Deliver Superior Developer Experiences: Convert developer needs into actionable user stories and collaborate with engineers and designers to continuously improve the product.

  • Translate Customer Needs into Platform Requirements: Gather insights through customer engagement, user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to guide technical teams and prioritize high-impact outcomes.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams and communicate product updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work Distributed and Asynchronously: Manage work effectively across time zones, leveraging asynchronous communication tools.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a technical role related to website development, support, customer success, or product management.

  • Technical knowledge of PHP, REACT, CSS, Next.js, GraphQL, REST APIs, WordPress, Drupal, or similar web technologies.

  • Ability to break down complex systems incrementally, using prototypes and experiments to validate hypotheses.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire change.

  • Experience translating user needs into technical requirements and keeping engineering teams focused on outcomes.
