Description:
CAE is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about process improvement, financial and logistical analysis, and supporting purchasing department strategies to enhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute to developing a more efficient, transparent, and proactive supply chain operation that supports CAE’s mission of creating realistic training environments for pilots.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and implement efficiency improvements through analysis of current data and processes.
Propose innovative approaches to operational tasks using improved processes and mechanisms.
Develop and maintain analytical tools to guide strategic decision-making.
Present data trends periodically and recommend corrective actions to meet departmental objectives.
Conduct monthly budget variance analysis and implement corrective measures.
Prepare various analysis reports using available tools and systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Bilingual (English and French).
3–5 years of experience as an analyst in a corporate setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in budget and cost analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new applications quickly.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Results-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Creative thinker with a solution-oriented approach and sound business judgment.
