Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

 

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Machine Learning Engineer to enhance a cutting-edge AI product using RAG and LLM technologies. You will focus on production-grade system design, integrating new use cases, optimizing ML infrastructure, and leading the delivery of at least one new use case within our NLQ product. The role involves collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers and product owners. This is a remote contract opportunity with strong potential for long-term extension.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the system design and implementation of ML solutions focused on RAG pipelines, LLMs, and production-grade infrastructure.
  • Develop and iterate on the existing ML pipeline, including containerized services deployed via Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design and integrate new use cases for the NLQ product by working with data pipelines and enhancing prompt engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI capabilities embedded in real-world applications.
  • Drive infrastructure improvements and build new ML components from scratch where necessary.
  • Influence architecture decisions, enforce MLOps standards, and promote ethical and compliant AI practices.
  • Deliver measurable impact by leading the launch of at least one new use case within the first two months.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, with a strong emphasis on production-grade systems.
  • 10 years of experience in Python (must-have).
  • 3+ years of experience in LangChain (must-have).
  • Strong experience with vector-based search techniques and RAG architectures.
  • Proficiency in Postgres and familiarity with data modeling for real-time ML applications.
  • Experience with AWS services and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Hugging Face, AWS SageMaker, dbt, and Snowflake (nice-to-have).
  • Exposure to CRMs or ERMs is a plus.
  • Ability to work on infrastructure as well as model-driven workflows.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
